What is Yoni Steaming and "how to": 

Yoni Steaming is an ancient practice of using a warm herbal steam infusion that gently cleanses and nourishes the vaginal canal, cervix, uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries and rectum. Consistent use of the steam promotes healing and brings the natural balance to the reproductive organs and balances hormones. 

 

This blend is created specifically to be cleansing, calming and hormone balancing! And is a tea and yoni steam. Drink the tea the same day you steam to get the beautiful affects from both ends! EACH tea bag can be used 3 times! You can even use it to first brew a tea, drink it and then add more hot water and use it for a yoni steam! 

 

Yoni Steaming!

 

Step 1: Place 32 - 64 ounces of water in a pot with a lid. Place 1 Tablespoons of herbs in the pot or one tea bag and cook on medium for 10 minutes. (You may reuse your herbs or tea bag for 2 additional sessions. To do this, store the yoni tea water in a sealed container in the refrigerator, use within 24 hours and reheat on the stove. 

Step 2: While cooking, prep your chosen Yoni- steam area. Place a heat safe mat for your pot or bowl. If using a bowl or other heat safe container, place it on the mat. Position a mat for your knees or set up a modified chair with a hole in the seat.

Step 3: Caution: HOT. Carefully carry your lidded pot to your area and place it upon your heat safe mat or pour tea into your heat safe bowl. 

Step 4: Using the back of your hand, test the steam. If too hot, wait 2 minutes and retest. 

Step 5: Carefully kneel, squat or sit in your modified chair over the steam so that it rises to your genital region (area of the canal opening). Steam for 10 - 20 minutes. Gauge your body's response to the steam, however, try to remain for the full 20 minutes. Caution: Individuals with an IUD may steam for NO MORE than 10-minutes.

Caution: I do not recommended that you use a sitz bath unless it is BPA free due to the toxins in the plastic being drawn into the tea and into your body.

*Not intended for pregnant or nursing individuals. Herbs may cause ill effects on unborn fetuses and nursing babies.

*Do not use when open wounds are present

For TM Individuals: 

*Do not use while actively bleeding

I recommend steaming on the new and full moon. However, you can steam as much as feels good for your body. Our vaginas are self-cleansing so don’t over do it!
